Should I Stay or Should I Go?

Making the complex decision to stay on or leave insurance panels

with Amy Matias, PhD, LICSW, Julie Anderson, PhD

and Guy Croteau, LICSW. Moderated by Oona Metz, LICSW

  • Do you ever feel you are tied to insurance panels?
  • Do you worry that your referrals will dry up if you don't accept insurance?
  • Do you feel a sense of moral or ethical obligation to accept clients who can only use their insurance?
  • Do you have long term clients who use their insurance and fear that no longer accepting insurance will mean you will have to transfer or terminate treatment?

If you have ever asked yourself any of these questions, this presentation is for you. The decision to be an insurance provider in this day and age is a complicated one. Please join us as three psychotherapists in private practice - one who accepts insurance, one who left the panels a year ago, and one who has recently decided to leave - will discuss these important questions.

There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion following the presentation.

January 26th, 2:00-4:00 pm
