NSGP Weekly Experiential Group 2024-2025

The Experiential Group is a weekly training group for clinicians interested in developing skills and confidence as group leaders through experience as group members. Participants learn first hand about the powerful opportunities and complex challenges of small group dynamics.
The program will be facilitated by Amy Matias, PhD, LICSW, CGP.
The 24 week training is divided into Module 1 and Module 2, each with 12 sessions 75 minutes in duration. You may register for one or both modules. Your registration indicates your commitment to attend.
Sessions are held in person on 10 to 11:15 am on Mondays excluding holidays. The location is conveniently located three blocks from the Harvard Square T stop and there is on street parking available.
WHEN:
Module 1: Begins September 30, 2024 through January 13, 2025.
Module 2: Begins January 20, 2025 through April 28, 2025.
WHERE: This group will take place in person. The location will be emailed to all registered and paid participants.
COST: $375 per 12 week module. $750 for both Module 1 and Module 2. Equity Rates are available for qualified applicants. Learn more here before registering.
This program is limited to 8 participants.
Completion of the Experience Group and submission of an online evaluation offers 15 CEUS per module for social workers, psychologists, and licensed mental health counselors. All participants also receive a complimentary one year Student membership to NSGP or comparable discount for another membership level.
FINANCIAL AWARDS: Scholarships may be available. If funds are available, partial scholarships will be awarded based on application strength, financial need, passion/interest for group therapy, and involvement in NSGP. See below to learn more about NSGP's AWARDS PROGRAM.
