Closing the Door: A Conversation About Retirement

Sunday, October 27, 2024

3-5 pm EST in-person at a location TBD in Newton or Brookline

$30 members/$40 non-members

REGISTRATION OPENS OCTOBER 1

Join in an intimate, moderated conversation as four retired or retiring individual and group therapists talk about their experiences of closing the door of their private practices. Whether you are thinking about retirement yourself or want ideas for the future, you will have a close up seat on a discussion of the hopes, fears, challenges, and practical wisdom of senior clinicians who have navigated this final stage of being a therapist. The panel discussion will be followed by questions and answers so you can participate in the conversation.

About Your Panelists

Suzanne Cohen, EdD., Jerry Gans, MD, and Barbara Schmitz, LMHC, have decades of private practice experience with individuals and groups. They have all completed or are in the process of retiring from clinical practice.  Panel discussion will be moderated by Oona Metz, LICSW, CGP.

Location details will be emailed in advance to all paid registrants.

We look forward to seeing you!
