Mentorship Program
|
NSGP's Mentorship Program connects members at different stages of their careers in meaningful professional relationships. Whether you are early in your development as a group therapist or a seasoned practitioner, the program offers an opportunity to grow — and to give back. The program facilitates both one-on-one and group mentoring relationships, guided by a philosophy of lifelong learning. Mentoring relationships are reciprocal by nature: mentees gain guidance and support, while mentors bring their expertise and often find the experience equally enriching. Areas of mentorship include working with time-limited groups, interpersonal groups, and inpatient groups; supporting specialized populations; navigating organizational leadership within NSGP and other professional settings; and setting up an independent practice. If you are interested in participating as a mentor or mentee, you can sign up using the links below. You are also welcome to download the Mentorship Checklist for more information about what the program involves. Click HERE to download the Mentorship Checklist. For more information about being a mentor or mentee, please contact the Mentorship Committee at mentorship@nsgp.com. Thank you! |
