Organized by: Training Committee Next Session: September 2026 (Registration closed) The Experiential Group is a 12-week training group for clinicians interested in developing their skills and confidence as group leaders through the experience of being group members themselves. Participants gain firsthand insight into the opportunities and challenges of small group dynamics in a structured learning environment. The program is facilitated by an experienced group therapist and held in person in the greater Boston area. It is limited to a small number of participants to support an intimate group experience. Completion of the program, along with submission of an online evaluation, offers CEUs for social workers, psychologists, and licensed mental health counselors. Scholarships and reduced rates are available — visit our Scholarship Program page for more information. The Experiential Group is not a therapy group. Although participating in a training group may have therapeutic value, the goal is learning about group dynamics and process rather than personal change, and the facilitator will function with this in mind. | Contact: Cathy DuBois at Catherine_dubois@williamjames.edu |
