The members of NSGP are a diverse group of psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, counselors and students who share a love of learning and connection. Whatever your discipline, we encourage you to join us and experience the positive impact both personally and professionally.

Why join a group therapy organization?

Group therapy is a powerful treatment modality. It is an effective stand alone treatment or can enhance other treatments. Experience as a group leader broadens your conceptualizations of cases and expands opportunities for interventions. NSGP membership provides a professional home to gain leadership skills experiment with new ideas and ways to be with and understand our patients not only in group, but also in individual therapy. As an NSGP member you will develop personally and professionally, as a group member and as a group leader. The skills observed, learned, and practiced in a group therapy organization apply far beyond group therapy.
