There is no better way to learn about group process and leadership than to be in an experiential group with a clear contract and well-articulated boundaries and an experienced leader. This makes it a secure and effective environment to learn both about  groups and oneself; it also means that the emotional experience can be intense. While these groups are process groups, they are not psychotherapy. This full day event involves experiential groups, limited to 12 members each, which offer the opportunity to reflect on both oneself as a member and the work of the leader. A brief period of didactic material and discussion will follow the experiential component of the day.

Participants will choose to commit to a Special Interest Group or a General Experience Group:

Group 1  |  Special Interest Group: Locating Oneself in an Expanding World with Sara Emerson, LICSW, CGP

Group 2  |  Special Interest Group: Entering the Heart of Group Psychotherapy with Corey Flanders, LMHC, CGP

Group 3  |  General Experience Group  with William Sharp, PsyaD, CGP and Leah Alexander, PsyaD
